This Friday

This Friday there will be a visiting Argentinian band coming to perform a lunch time concert an we have the opportunity to play with them do I got the music for that today. There is a small rehearsal on Thursday but I think this is a good opportunity and should also be a lot of fun. We are meant to be playing pirates of the caribbean I am rather excited about that.

Unfortunately we've been told we are not up to standard in our project group. Personally I find that really annoy as I was one of few who turned up to most meetings (occasionally weather meant I couldn't make it but I always let someone know) and I've also been using zoho. Not in my favour is that I have quite a small role in the project and haven't really had that much to do. I'm not too worried now though as Annette has stepped in and it might be the push we need to get this off the ground.

Update

Well today is the day of the concert where I'm playing in windband and choir. I think this performance book had been a better time table. Choir and concert band are always on the same days quite close together so that helps. I wasn't able I attend the composition helpdesk because of doctors appointments and such things but I'm looking forward to going back to normal class times on Monday.
I have a flute lesson tomorrow where I think I'll be doing a lot of work on the two Bach pieces I've been learning over the holidays so hopefully that goes well.
Mainly I just need I get back into the swing of things and find my motivation again.
