This performance block has been much better than the rest. I think I've had more to do and I took it upon myself to get help with composition for once :p
I'm enjoying rock choir too. I like how we learn most of it by ear and the main idea is to get you to enjoy music and really just go out there and give it all even if your not 100% on all of the notes. We also might be doing that song at Annette's daughters wedding which would be a lot of fun.
I have also tried setting up another blog on tumblr where I can upload videos and compositions I have done but for some reason I'm having trouble getting it to register. I tried to update my website from last year but my laptops not playing fair right now so I'll give it another chance.
At my flute lesson on Saturday Sue had said she was please with my progress on the Rutter piece and that for next week I need to get it to run more smoothly and evenly.
I finished my 2nd research essay for lauries class which leaves me with only one more to do which I plan to start today.
My Sibelius isn't working do I downloaded MuseScore so I can work on orchestrations at home during the holidays. I've started the Spanish romance piece which I think will be the hardest as all you are given is the one line of music. I've decided to use a s sitar which should count as my world instrument.
For comp film tv I have begun my research project. I watched the film and took notes and picked two of my cues. I tried notating the main theme which went okay only I can't seem to get it in the right key.
All in all I think that this has been the most productive performance block yet and I just feel much more motivated and confident about this year. Maybe it's the vitamin D effect from the sun (:
